Centre area in Taksim but big mistake in room booking as we booked for 2 room 3 nights yet we learnt the night before the check-in that the hotel only has 1 room for us!
The staff told us they were not able to find another hotel in the same area. I ended up staying with them for the first night and found the place myself for our 2nd and 3rd nights. Although upon check-in at this hotel, the hotel owner tried to convince us to move to the brand new hotel (not even exist on google map). I could not help thinking they might want us to move to the hotel where they got money/ commission from.
I insisted to move to the hotel of my choice. They requested us to pay everything through them at almost the same rate originally booked with Hotels.com (yet for only one room, instead of two rooms, for the first night). Payment had to be made by cash as they will charge you extra with credit card payment.
Last but not least, the hotel where we moved in has requested us to pay for the rooms which we already paid to ArArt hotel. I needed to call and make sure the trouble was fixed!
Worst experience ever! Stay away!
