Probably a nice resort if it had not been for the extremely poor, defect and not cleaned ventilation system. The smell of mold was absolutely horrible. As we spend some 40 nights around in different hotels, this was the absolute worst. On top, the humidity was insane, eyes and nose was dripping, headache came banging and it was impossible to get some sleep.
Staff in reception was very helpful and offered another room as an "upgrade" for the night. The new room was absolutely fine, clean air, dry and nice. So we finally managed to get a few hours sleep - but damage was done. Our plan was to stay for 7 nights, however; we just booked one and that was enough. Checked out, bought new tickets back to BKK.
It is and was definately poor management to sell this room whatsoever. Someone must have known. Never again!
Funny thing is, as we told them we were checking out for a hotel later this year for a group of 50 persons, they still gave us an absolutely discraceful, smelling, no hygienic room (628). 301 was absoutely fine, so I guess this problem is not in every room, hence they shouldnt have sold it!
Coffee was was good, although I was too upset to actually enjoy the breakfast.
