I stayed for two nights and unfortunately, my first night was a horrible experience. I could not get a wink of sleep due to continuous noise and disturbances from the guests in the room next to mine.
There was loud and aggressive verbal arguing, shouting, swearing and constant movement in and out of their room. This continued from approximately 6:00 pm until 9:00–10:00 am the following morning. On top of that, there were loud conversations in the hallway, machinery noise and what sounded like hammering or banging.
The entire experience was extremely stressful and left me exhausted. I am unsure whether staff were present during the overnight hour but given that security cameras are installed in the vicinity, I believe the hotel should have appropriate measures in place to monitor and address serious, prolonged disturbances.
As someone who works in the hotel industry, I understand that guest behaviour cannot always be controlled. However, the comfort, safety and ability of other guests to rest should be taken seriously. A disturbance lasting throughout the night and into the following morning should not be something a paying guest has to endure without relief.
Sadly, this was a very disappointing experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews its procedures for handling overnight noise complaints. Guests deserve a peaceful and comfortable stay and unfortunately, my first night was anything but that.
