L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur de la vieille ville. Un service de chauffeur inclus de la gare à l’hôtel est d’ailleurs très pratique. L’hôtel est dans un vieux bâtiment, très joliment décoré et le personnel est très sympathique. Le pdj aux choix asiatique ou occidental est bien. Seul le prix est pour moi un peu élevé (130€) la nuit.

The staff here is the most helpful, polite, and hospitable staff that I have encountered at a hotel in my life. The check in was very smooth and they even arranged pick up and drop off from and to the train station, which was seamless. The rooms were very clean, as well as the bathroom. And the location is prime, right by the South Gate, 3 min walk to central tower, and a Luckin Coffee right next door.

Non è un hotel a 4 stelle, non ci sono servizi all'altezza di un 4 stelle: - la prima colazione finisce alle 9 e non è a buffet ma hai solo due scelte tra stile Cinese o stile Europeo. - abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti, e il secondo giorno il letto è stato rifatto molto male, senza nessuna cura e buttando le coperte alla rinfusa. Allego delle foto. - abbiamo chiesto indicazioni per un ristorante con tavoli all'aperto per godere delle fresche temperature della zona, ma ci è stato frettolosamente detto che non c'è ne sono. In realtà ne abbiamo trovati 2 a poche decine di metri dall'hotel... - non c'è il servizio di lavanderia. - in camera c'è un bollitore per acqua ma non c'è traccia di caffè liofilizzato. Tutto sommato raccomando questa struttura solo per clienti poco esigenti e che vogliono uscire subito dall'hotel senza godere dei servizi che normalmente un hotel di 4 stelle dovrebbe offrire.

Free pickup and drop-off from the high speed rail station. Hotel is pretty quiet inside considering it's on a very busy street outside. Super convenient location to see everything in Pingyao. They packed our breakfast for us since our departing train left earlier than when they usually serve breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at the Water Hotel

My wife and I stayed at the Water Hotel for a few days in early January. The staff upgraded us to a larger room and was overall very helpful, including arranging a pickup at Taiyuan airport and return transportation to the airport. The morning breakfast is delivered to your room a few minutes after you order it. The Hotel is right in the old town and within steps of anything you want to see their. The itself was spacious, clean and with a comfortable bed.

Very lovely old hotel in ideal location hard bed

Lovely atmosphere old chinese. Right in the centre of the old city. Beautiful place for breakfast, Chinese breakfast did not suit my wife but great coffee and orange juice, i think they own luckin coffee next door. Room was lovely but we are getting too old for a futton on the floor that was the only downside. I think some rooms had softer beds Hotel picked up from train and dropped off great service. Dont really speak english but they had translator on the phone so it was fine. Staff friendly all good.

Situé sur la rue principale, juste près de la porte sud, il a l'avantage d'un accès facile (véhicules interdits en ville). Très calme, confortable, bien équipé et chauffé (important). Personnel très attentionné. Petit restaurant pour prendre le petit-déjeuner du matin. Pendant 4 jours nous avons eu tout le temps d'observer les lieux de séjour proposés à Pingyao et celui-ci est sans contexte une très bonne adresse.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the Old City

Lovely hotel with amazingly modern, yet traditional decor. Our family of 4 adults and 2 toddlers reserved two Kang rooms, which was a good size and comfortable for the kids to sleep in. Wonderful service, hotel arranged free transport to/from Pingyao Old City train station. Breakfast was great, with Chinese and Western options. Awesome location right on South Street (one of the main streets) and just around the corner from the ticket booth and Old City Wall. All around an amazing experience and a beautiful hotel.

Grande disponibilità del personale. Hanno organizzato i trasferimenti da e per la stazione senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Colazione discreta, ma nulla di particolare. Un’oasi di pace nel traffico (pedonale) cittadino
