A true five star! I can't remember the last time I stayed in such a ritzy hotel. A great, quiet room with a view, a generous breakfast buffet, the works. I chose the Hilton because the map showed close proximity to the line 6 Granadia station of Riyadh's new metro. This turned out to be a bit misleading: the Hilton is much closer to the metro than the map suggested. The station entrance is at the bottom of the hotel driveway. -- Travelers should be forewarned that there are two side-by-side buildings, one for long-term residents, with kitchenettes, and the other for conventional hotel guests like me.

Great hotel lobby, an excellent breakfast selection and service, the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Some of the surrounding area is still under construction and could do with better signposting in the underground car park.

Fabulous stay!
