Lost in location

Poor reception
Arrived in the middle of the night and was basically told to leave as it was obviously too early to check in. I had to ask if a room was available for me to stay in which I was happy to pay for. There was and so I simply paid for an extra night. The receptionist could have been more welcoming and offered me the room in the first place instead of simply telling me I was too early and should leave.

I was given a room with dirty bed sheet and it seemed blood from an activity of previous guest. Hotel manager denied any compensation and was rather unapologetic about it stating that I notified hotel on day 2. How can one notify before noticing the stains

Close to Bangkok Hospital
We arrived around 11pm at night and would really have appreciated it if someone had put our aircon on. The room was very hot and we just needed to go to sleep. Staff were always very helpful. The main problem was caused by other guests banging their doors any time of day or night, also talking loudly in the rooms beside us. This hotel is very close for anyone wanting to go too Bangkok hospital.
