We enjoyed our stay in a clean and comfortable cabin. The park is beautiful.

The room was clean but spartan. The desk staff were pleasant and helpful when we couldn’t open the door to our balcony. But we had to wait about half an hour to be seated at the restaurant for dinner (plenty of open tables and only one couple in front of us, but only one waitress), it was another 20 minutes before our order was taken (though two other wait staff were added), and we were not impressed enough to eat there again for breakfast (and not confident it wouldn’t take an hour and a half to eat there in the morning.) we had a terrific view of the sunset in the mountains though!

We had a great one night stay after visiting Cumberland Gap National historic area. Our family of 6 stayed in one of the cottages. Cottage was was very clean and updated but did smell a little musty. We had dinner at the lodge while enjoying the view and swam in the pool. We brought our own food for breakfast which we were able to cook in the cottage. Then we checked out and drove up to the top of the mountain amd hiked to chained rock. Its all downhill on the way there but not too far (half of a mile). Overall it was a great stop on our Kentucky vacation.

Beautiful setting with balcony overlooking the mountains.. clean room comfortable beds. They used to offer a breakfast but stopped doing that in May for this season and that was a disappointment.. other than the coffee machine in the room, no coffee was offered but as a courtesy for my past remembrances, they did give me one cup of coffee. They do have a nice pool and walking trails..

Check in the staff was so helpful and friendly! The rooms are always nice and clean, breakfast at the lodge is always great! Parking is a little tricky but there’s an over flow lot that helps so much and depending on where your room is located, that lot is sometimes closer! We love the lodge and stay here often!
