My daughter and I stayed during Freshman Connection as Northwestern State. We were met with friendly people at every turn. The power had gone out right before we checked in but the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the room was clean. The atmosphere was peaceful and the location was perfect for our short trips back and forth to Northwestern. I was able to get in a daily walk in a beautiful, safe area as well. We will be back for future events.

i had booked a king bed and when i got there they said they only had two queens. which were very hard, my wife likes a hard matress and she said it was too hard. location is great. there was some disrepair in the building and only one working elevator. and you have to park a short distance away. room was clean, breakfast was typical and ok. staff was good and friendly. if the matresses were softer it would have been a lot better. I used to travel a lot for work and usually stayed at IHG hotels because of the matresses.
