The hotel is well-located as a base to explore the city, but it’s not ideal if you plan to spend much time there. The rooms have a slight musty smell, and the bathrooms could use some maintenance. When you turn on the bathroom faucet, there’s a noticeable noise from the pipes, which can be bothersome. The restaurant experience wasn’t the best; it took almost 45 minutes to get a burger and fish and chips.
Another point to note is the parking: although the hotel appears in search filters as having parking, it’s actually located at a convent about a five-minute walk away. Not a major inconvenience, but good to know in advance.
Overall, it’s a good place to use as a base to explore the city, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable or relaxing stay in the hotel itself.
