We were a couple staying in a private room with a shared bathroom. The hostel staff were all lovely with varying levels of English but were all happy to help. There are cooking facilities in the kitchen and two large fridges that you can store your own items in if you would like to cook. Also some basics for sharing like oil and spices too.
On a morning the hostel lay out a selection of items for you to prepare yourself such as cereals, bread, spreads, fruit and eggs. There is also tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt and milk. If anything is running low the staff have more that they restock with so just let them know.
The room itself was very modest. 4 lockers for your bags, a desk and chair a double bed and two side tables. All clean and tidy and a towel provided. Personally I found the memory foam mattress and pillows very difficult to sleep on but as this was only a short stay it was fine.
The bathroom was a little way from the particular room that we stayed in and had two shower cubicles, one toilet and an additional sink. All seemed clean when we were using them and had no complaints.
There is also an outdoor communal seating area space to sit as a large group or smaller separate ones. And also indoor tall tables as well as a comfy seated area.
All very good for the rate, but possibly not somewhere to stay for a long time.
In close proximity to the bus station which is very handy, although we really liked the other side of town near the Parque General San Martin more
