SEVERE SAFETY CONCERN. I experienced a very delicate situation involving internal security inside the apartment during my stay. To make matters worse, the building has absolutely no security cameras in the common areas or access points, leaving guests completely vulnerable and without any backing if something happens in their absence. When I contacted the host about the issue, their response was completely dismissive, simply saying 'what a shame, but I need you to vacate the property so I can clean it for the next guest. Call the police.' If you prioritize safety, take this as a warning. The distress I had to go through was more than enough

The location was definitely the highlight of our stay. The apartment is very well situated, right by the canals, with restaurants and everything you need nearby. It’s a beautiful area of Venice and a great base for exploring the city. The apartment itself was also nice and comfortable overall. However, a few details could be improved. For a 3-night stay, we were surprised to find only two partially used rolls of toilet paper, no coffee, and no basic kitchen essentials such as olive oil, salt, pepper or spices. Since the apartment has a kitchen, providing a few basics would make a big difference for guests. The air conditioning in the bedroom was also not very effective, especially during the summer heat. Check-in took longer than expected. Guests should also be aware that an access code is sent by text message. If you are travelling with an eSIM or a plan that cannot receive SMS abroad, this can make check-in more complicated. It would be much easier if this information and the access code could be arranged in advance or sent by email. Overall, a great location and a nice apartment, but a few improvements would make the experience much better.

This property was about a 5 minute walk from Santa Lucia train station, so 5 stars for location. It was in a quiet alley right off the main path so you didn't get a lot of street noise.

Apartamento Único! Vista e Varandas para o Canal

Apartamento recentemente remodelado e grande, com um pátio fechado na frente óptimo para crianças brincarem e com varandas e janelas grande com vista para o Canal. Tem 4 quartos no primeiro andar e duas salas grandes no R/C onde tem 2 sofás camas duplos. Isto tudo numa zona óptima de comércio e restaurantes em Veneza perto de Tudo. Óptima escolha para uns dias em Veneza com família ou amigos.

In a busy area and a tad difficult to find but the view makes it worth it. Wasn’t as noisy as expected if you just close the windows. I was able to do laundry and hang clothes on the lines outside which was why I booked this place since I was backpacking. The communication with staff was quick and helpful. The netflix was a perfect touch to make it feel like home. Definitely recommend this spot.

This was an absolutely wonderful find!!! A great location for everything!! we really enjoyed our stay! You hear boats on the canal and all the fun hustle and bustle but everything goes very quiet by 11 PM. The windows overlooking the canal have a great view! We opened the window and enjoyed the view, and the breeze. The small balcony outside the bathroom is very funny as the remodel must’ve made that the balcony room. It is over the canal. But too small to hang out The long balcony is outside the kitchen and not any view, but it is a big balcony for if you want some additional outdoor space. Very walkable to the train station and other areas of shopping and restaurants. Such a quaint area. We enjoyed it much more than San Marco. The only problem that we had was finding the correct gate. Their pictures/directions were good, but once we hit the spot, there was a gate to the left and the code didn’t work. But it was the wrong gate. The other gate was the correct one and it did not have a code so you just enter and then go to the left-the door is on the left side to punch the code. (Hope this helps). Once you go through it is really awesome and private and you practically have the whole building as this apartment. It’s remodeled so very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place!We would come back in a minute and stay again. Really wonderful! And they accommodated a later checkout time for us. (Make sure and reserve your taxis in advance! Just FYI). LOVED THIS PLACE!!!

The worst experience ever , IGNORANT management.

A hostel experience would be better then this ! And I paid them over £400/night. I travel all the time , been to probably 100+ hotels but this is the worse management that I ever came across . Management of this place closes at 6pm ! They don't answer phone from 6pm onwards .Our family ( a couple with a child plus 73 yrs old granny) arrived to Venice on a rainy day at 5;30pm,we used the link on our booking to find the location of the accommodation-but google map just couldn't find it .They did send email one week before our arrival with a very bad explanation where is the entrance of this property.That wouldn't help either.It was like a hidden gate at the end of a dark alley with many obstacles on the way.We tried to phone the property management once we realised that this is impossible to find-but no answer.We were left without any support and it was only 6;10 pm ! How can you run a accommodation business and choose to ignore your guests ? This management is only interested to grab your money and absolutely doesn't care to give any help or service to the guests.I have never seen anything like it .The place is dirty,everything had stains .The fridge is faulty,leaky water was all over my food.THE photo of the property which shows some kind of terrace is fake , there is no terrace on the grand canal unless you count a very small " french balcony"in the toilet .PILLOWS very thin and uncomfortable. Internet works from time to time .Absolutely worst experience I ever had in Italy!

En general el departamento está en buenas condiciones, pero te hacen realizar el check in a 20 min de distancia del departamento, si es mil escalones, no hay señalamientos... tienes que estar al pendiente horas antes de llegar para que te expliquen cómo llegar a las oficinas del departamento... y después te tienen que explicar cómo llegar al departamento porque te lo cambian a la mera hora, las señoritas encargadas son muy groseras y prepotentes... me comunicaron con la encargada general quien fue la única que me pudo apoyar con una excelente actitud....

Not thrilled

The lady who checked us in was not accommodating to out of town travelers and would not budge on the check in time. As a family of 6, not familiar with the area and have all of our bags we tried to make the best of it. Upon checking into our room finally, the room was not very clean with stains on the couch and it appeared as if the room had not been swept and trash was left on the balcony. The apartment was very modern and well kept with the exception of the cleaning job however, the wonderful looking shower did not have enough water pressure for both shower heads and had very little heat! We were disappointed....

Apartment has good potential and roomy for 4 people. The pillows are flat like a pancake and very dusty underneath the beds. We stayed for 4 nights and had 1 set of towels for each. No hot water to take a shower, lucky to get it to be lukewarm after running it for a few minutes. Recommend to add hospitality items like kitchen sponge, dishrag and dishwashing soap. Not worth it for the price we paid for 4 mights.

Right in the Centre of Venice on the Grand canal, Easy to access and reception were very helpful. Need to be aware it is down an alley off the main street so took a moment to find. Would strongly recommend this property for someone who wants to be in the heart of Venice. Just remember the Grand Canal is the M1 of Venice so can be noisy with all the boats

Vakkert hus ved Grand Canal. Stort hus som vi trivdes godt i perfekt for vår familie på 8 personer. Gode senger, fantastisk utsikt og mye å følge med på fra balkongen. akre møbler og detaljer. Inn og utsjekking fungerte optimalt.

July 24 - July 27th Stay

The property was conveniently located - we all loved it! The view of the canal was amazing - enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle of Venice. If there is anything to comment on it would be Concierge and Linens. 1) There were not enough linens to accommodate all 11 of us - we had to improvise with what we had for the couches on the main floor. 2) The Concierge who greeted us - We found them not very welcoming, and not helpful when it came to us asking for travel solutions (ie. People Mover). Also would have been nice if they were a little more accommodating with entry time...my sister-in-law mentioned that my Father's health is not good and there was no consideration whatsoever to help us get him a place to rest sooner than 3:00 pm. All and all - lovely location and accommodations !
