Just what we needed.

We had a small issue that was quickly rectified by the team and would recommend staying here. The location is perfect, with people fly fishing on the narrow river at the back of the property. There is a fish/seafood grocery store in walking distance, and a bar that is part of the complex. A short drive away are all of the shopping you might need to take care of your requirements.

I liked the view from the deck out over the park and river - the area is very quiet, particularly in the evening. It was great to have all Sky TV channels available and a television that works, unlike a lot of places I've stayed in. I found the motel difficult to find - the street it's in has been realigned over the years and the maps don't show it properly. Little things in the room took the shine off the quality and the value for money - one window doesn't close properly, the bathroom sink tap is loose, there's a unpainted plywood board attached to the base of the spa bath, paint is flaking off in the bathroom, and the tv is tilting over to the right. The air conditioning seems to struggle to cool the room down and the remote display didn't appear to be working. All minor things that could be sorted easily though.
