This hotel was a great find that we were so happy about! It's a rather small hotel very close to the Chania old center, so the location is extremely convenient. A small (for us) downside of this is that you might hear people talking quite loudly until late in the night. The walls are also rather thin so we could hear when people were talking on the hallway or opening their room doors.
Other than that, everything was excellent - very clean when we arrived and also housekeeping was very thorough (do note though, that you have to announce when you want housekeeping in your room and it's not available on Sunday). Breakfast is quite diverse and they had a delicious selection of pastries and pies that they rotated daily. We also enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice and the freshly made omlette. Breakfast is served on a nice rooftop terrace so this also adds to the experience.
What stood out the most, however, was the staff - everyone we interacted with was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and even after we checked out they invited us to stay for a few hours on the rooftop terrace since we had a late flight. If we ever come back to this part of Crete we'd love to stay here again!
