We stayed at Inka Wasi for 3 days after our trip from Machu Picchu, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was great, bed was large & very comfortable, with a great bathroom.
The location of the hotel is very close to the main square, in the smaller square called Plaza el Regocijo, which is a bonus. Another unintended bonus is that all the trips that we took from Cuzco, they pick up and drop off from Plaza el Regocijo! Which means we didn't have to take any extra taxi / bus to get to the pickup/drop off points - this was a HUGE PLUS, especially when you come back tired from your 12+ hour trip.
Breakfast was the best we've had at Cuzco. The coffee was amazing (freshly made), many more choices than just bread & jam/butter.
Another point to note - for laundry, all the hotels probably charge higher prices than what you will get with individual laundry vendors. Outside the rate is 3 soles per KG whereas the hotel was charging us 8 soles. Mentioning this to the hotel, they brought the rate down to 5 soles for us. I didn't mind paying the extra 2 soles per KG for the convenience of clothes cleaned and being delivered to my room.
And finally, a special shoutout to George at the front desk who went above & beyond his call of duty to make our stay super comfortable for us. He waited with us early in the morning when our pickup was late, he started the breakfast early for us when we had an early checkout, he was always helpful to provide information. Thank You George!
