We had dinner in the hotel & it was really Good! It was a bit strange that no one else was dining. We offered some advice to offer some discount to residence if they had dinner which may help. Breakfast was good.. The view from the window was the graveyard which was great for us & very atmospheric.

You couldn't ask for a more perfectly situated hotel in Llangollen. It's an old building, so don't expect it to be pristine, but it has plenty of character.

The staff were helpful, the rooms are dated but are spacious and clean, we couldn’t find any reviews about the food, we had our evening meal here and the food was excellent and highly recommend dining here, the breakfast buffet was excellent

Good location. Hotel ok but we stayed on the top floor which was like an oven with no fan in the room . Nearly left half way through the night because of this . Other than this the hotel is good if your looking for a short stay whilst staying in Llangollen . I would go back again but would ask for a room on the lower floors during any warm weather

This hotel is in a fantastic location,but the interior and rooms are very dated and are in need of a good overhaul.The bathroom didn’t look the cleanest but I also think some of that was due to age of it. Great beer garden and as I was there on the hottest weekend of the year it was very much enjoyed.

Could really do with a make over / updating.. can understand them maybe keeping it traditional for the period it was built.. room was small bathroom small Couldn't sit on toilet properly for the toilet roll holder, took about 5 mins to get the water right for the shower.. tv timing out like Couldn't get a signal.. Staff great Couldn't fault them..

Great location, really nice terrace overlooking river. Easy to use system for paying for parking by scanning app in reception.
