Wonderful. Clean. Quiet. Until 7am. Roof work overhead. Overall it was great. Great view No breakfast though.

The hotel was cheap and clean, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the walls are so thin that people slamming dresser drawers in the room next to us (their dresser was on the same wall as our bed) and walking around upstairs was noisy enough to keep me awake (but not my husband!). That and the unusual practice of "opening" our room for us and leaving the old fashioned key in our unlocked room. Kinda seems like some sort of "turn down" service, but I just don't know. It seemed odd. Even so, we would likely stay again because the room was large, scrupulously clean and the staff was just so darn nice!

Very clean room. The Cedars Motel is well managed and very well taken care of by the owner. The check-in staff and owner were friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Ironwood.

This was a first-class little hotel. No, it isn't the Ritz, but it is a very clean, spectacularly maintained motel. The room was large, and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a loveseat in the room too, so we could watch TV without lying down in bed. We chatted with the hosts a couple of times and found them nice & helpful. In fact, we accidentally left a bag behind in the room, and we didn't get 10 miles down the road before they called us to let us know. We were able to go back with very little inconvenience, get the bag, and resume our trip. Add to that the fact that the price was very reasonable. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but since they do not serve breakfast, we recommend The Pines Cafe. It is a wonderful old-fashioned cafe with great food & service.

We arrived late but they had everything ready for us to make our check-in quick and easy. The motel was very clean and looked like everything was recently remodeled with a mid-century modern charm. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a 10 hour drive with 5 young children. We were arriving way past the check in time. The staff was very helpful with accommodating us. We arrived to a very clean room. We had to add another night on our stay. Very simple process and lovely people. Highly recommend!

Such a cool place with super friendly owners. It's a time capsule of a building, from the 70s but miraculously everything looks brand new. I make it a point to stay in vintage motels, and this is by far the cleanest and most well preserved example I've ever seen. The room was also very quiet.

This vintage room was very spacious, well furnished; also containing a microwave and good size refrigerator. There is a separate sink and counter outside of the full bathroom, which helps multiple guests get ready. The room has a air conditioner and is extremely clean. Even the grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers. There is extra parking and a nice grassy area to let kids play or to sit outside and picnic at the table supplied. You can even watch the kids play while you relax sitting outside your 1st or 2nd floor room.

I was looking for a place close to Lake Superior, but not overcrowded with tourists. My room had a nice mid-century "cabin in the woods" feel, not like the big chain hotels. The mini-fridge and microwave helped me save money on food. I would definitely come back again!

Wow! What a great place. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and quiet setting. I stay at The Cedars every time I visit Ironwood, and it never disappoints. Easy to see why they were voted best lodging in town. I’ll definitely be back again.

It was an older remodeled property in excellent condition. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing missing was an ice machine. Hair dryer available at the office. Only stayed one night but would stay there again.

We arrived late. The office was closed, but there was a notice on the office door directing us to our room. The room door was unlocked. On the table was the key and information concerning our stay. Everything was better than described in the booking ad. In the light of morning we saw the yard next to the building had chairs, an area with chairs & a table under a canopy for shade. This is a definite place we will stay when in the Ironwood area.
