Disappointing Stay - Old, Dirty, and Noisy ​I stayed at Zeynep Hanım Konağı recently and was quite disappointed. While the building has historic charm, the experience itself was far from pleasant. ​Old and Poorly Maintained Rooms: The rooms felt very old, with noticeable signs of wear and tear. ​Dirty and Worn Beds: The beds were in poor condition and felt dirty and worn, which significantly impacted comfort. ​Moldy Bathroom: The bathroom was a major issue, specifically the presence of mold, indicating a severe lack of cleanliness and proper maintenance. ​Excessive Noise: The worst part of the stay was the loud music that continued well past midnight, making it impossible to sleep and causing serious disturbance. ​Overall, the combination of old, dirty facilities and the unbearable noise level made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this place until major improvements are made to both the cleanliness and the noise management policies.

The hotel is pretty good and staffs are very very welcoming and friendly. They are very patient and helpful. The owner gave us a lot of advices and help too. Definitely services are the best here. The breakfast buffet is very nice with good views. We stayed there for 4 days and everything was good. The room details might be a little bit old but I think it is not bad.

Zeynep Hanım Konağı is located in the old city of Gaziantep, with its narrow streets, old stone houses, cafes and charm. It reminded me of the riyads of Marrakesh. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and charming. Well worth the price. I went in winte, and the air conditioning as the only heat source easily and quickly heated the room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not a lot to choose from, and not very delicious. All in all a good hotel. I would come back, I will recommend it, and I would skip the breakfast.

Maybe great if you're Turkish otherwise no.

Very difficult place to find, had to get assistance from several people as it is up a very narrow laneway off a main street. Parking had to be arranged in a lot some distance from the hotel which was a concern. On check in we could not make eye contact with the attendants. They did not speak English and whenever we asked a question they looked at each other and mumbled a reply in Turkish. On check out we mentioned that we did not know about breakfast arrangements and no one had told us. The manager pointed to a sign in Turkish with the breakfast times and said "this is a Turkish hotel". Definitely felt unwelcome. The room was filled with flies, very thin walls with noise of TV coming from adjacent room and arguing going on in the terrace area.

I was gonna choose Ibis Hotel, instead we chose a traditional Konak type but there are hundreds of inconvenient things that they don’t care and take reaction for. The only good thing was the first impression of the accommodation. Other than that, the bed was inclined. No way to sleep comfortable. We requested a cleaning after first day but they didn’t clean our room at all and they put lots of lie and excuses for it. The bed sheet had ball formation all over. The toilet flush was stuck and I needed fix it by removing the lid and stuff myself. The parking is free but don’t think it is right front of building. At least they are sending bellboy but pretty far due to its limited structural neighbor. Breakfast is horrible. We stayed 3 nights and they didn’t have butter during our stay at all. The excuse was Sacrificing Holiday. Pretty funny. All of the markets were open. The breakfast salon has limited silverware and one single poor lady has to take care of everything because they don’t have working dishwasher and equipment. They put salt in an exposed plate that everybody touches. Unacceptable at all. Rooms were dirty. Probably they never do deep cleaning ever. Staff were nice but management was horrible horrible horrible. I don’t recommend at all.

Zimmerwechsel wurde nach Beanstandung durchgeführt,weil die Klimaanlage nicht funtioniert hatte. Im neuen Zimmer funktionierte der Minikühlschrank nicht.Wurde nicht behoben.Die Bezahlung im Unterkunft wurde fehlerhaft ins System gegeben.Bei Check out zeigte ich den Beleg und verlange ein Rückruf vom Verursacher.Der Rückruf wurde nicht getätigt.
