There renovating this property, the internet was not working, basic cable 2/3 channels and I only found out when I got there, I was not-spending time in the room so it was ok for me, the power went out some time Saturday morning after Midnight, and they don't have a back up generator so no saftey devices could work like fore alarms, lights there were no emergency lights, I was on the ground flor so lucky me if we had to evacuate. Walk with a back up mobile battery pack if you stay there.

Weekend Layover

Booked a room at this location for a one-night stop in Auburn on short notice. We found the hotel under renovation when we arrived. The room was okay, but upon entry to our room, the bathroom had an unflushed toilet, a used washcloth was on the counter, and trash was under the nightstand. Check-in and check-out were quick. The best feature in our room was the shower's water pressure. It's been quite a while since we've experienced that much pressure. We would rate this as a 6.5 out of 10 and might book here again. Hopefully the renovations will be completed soon and housekeeping will improve.

Inn is under re-modeling. in rooms and hallways. First room had leaking shower head and water accumulating on bathroom floor. changed rooms and ok but still needs re furbishing. Peeling and caulking cracks in tub surround.All windows covered with plastic due to outdoor painting.

The hallways smell like mildew. Bathtub had a leak and the crevices were black. Whole hotel room feels dirty. Linens had stains. Towels had hair on them. Theres people who just hang around outside the property and made me extremely nervous. People smoke right outside the entrance which is annoying. Feel bad for the house keeping staff cause they look overwhelmed. Would not stay here again.

Police in Lobby Taking Reports at Registration

Staff was nice & welcoming. Geographical location good----several reputable businesses nearby----but the condition of the hotel is not. Suspicious activity in parking lot throughout the night. Many longterm residents living there. No locks on external doors all around the building. Door to room barely closed or locked. Furniture & tub dated and grubby. Did not feel safe and surprised Hotels.com lists this place.

This was one of the worst properties we have ever stayed in! Bathroom was very dirty with a lot of mold in tub area! Counter with sink tilted and walls were worn and dirty! Floor in bathroom and main room missing wood flooring causing holes in the floor!! Desk was not stable and wobbled! Curtains were torn and tattered! No night stand on one side of bed! Lamp on nightstand was full of dust! I have photos of all these different issues! I couldn’t bring myself to use the bath/shower!!’

The room was clean for the most part. One towel left that appeared to have been used. Tub wasn't clean enough. The worst part was the smell of nicotine in the room - it may have just been a heavy smoker who'd been in there. I should've left after the 1st night. I regret not leaving at midnight the 2nd night - my lungs will take some time to recover. Out in the hallway, the swinging doors need to be cleaned daily. The main hallway running from the office smells awful from nicotine. The outside door in the back did not close and lock - poor security!
