The staff member was great. We chose this place for its historical factor. Our only downfall was the hotel lost power overnight and without ac the room got hot. Otherwise its a great place to visit.

The staff/owner were all very friendly and helpful. We had a couple needs that they helped us with and were happy to do it. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable. However it needs some repair. It had a small microwave and a nice size refrigerator The 1/2 bath that we used was clean and in good repair. The place had a lot of wonderful items decorating it including several horse sadles and lots of great art work.

I loved the quiet town, everyone was so friendly, and it is the perfect place to rest. Yet the history, comfort and charm of stepping back in time at The Kempton is the most special part of the experience. A very comfy bed with the feeling of being part of the family, even for the two nights I stayed there, I would go out of my way to stay there again.
