We are both well through our 80's so to find our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift was an unpleasant surprise. Fortunately, with help from the receptionist, we were able to endure the climb. Good, pleasant room overlooking the beach.

Hiked across Wales from Hereford (camping in a tent) and upon arrival here, didn’t even spend the night and just went straight home. The tent was cleaner and nicer quality! Poor service from staff, outdated, rooms do not look like the photos, carpet falling apart. In serious need of modernisation. Do not recommend.

Had a lovely stay here. Staff were helpful, location was perfect, room was really clean and it was amazing to have a sea view and be sent off to sleep by the sound of the waves on shingle! I would have rated it 5 stars if it hadn't been just a bit frayed around the edges - carpet was worn through and it was a shame the double glazing was shot as it was difficult to properly watch the sea through the condensation! Would definitely recommend for a no-frills stay in Aberystwyth.

Sadly the room was terrible.. the carpet was thread bare.. the curtains were practically falling down.. the cobwebs on the window had been there for a long time.. someone left a review 12 months ago about the hot tap missing its top! It's still missing!! The staff were really nice and friendly but the place needs a good scrub!!

Great room in a prime location. Comfy bed wuth everything needed. The view was immense and we will certainly be looking to book at this hotel each time we stay in Aberystwyth

Practical place to stay, on the promenade. Friendly staff, dogs welcome. Clean, good bed and shower. If you go there at the weekend the parking spaces are free on the promenade for 4 hours ( Monday to Saturday, 8am-6pm).

Worst placed stayed for a long time, paper thin walls, argumentative guests, drunks rolling in from 2am until daybreak, uncomfortable bed. Travel a lot and stay away most wks, 2/3 nights most wks. By far the worst, wouldn’t even rate it as a doss house, awful.

Das Zimmer war sauber, leider war jedoch die ganze Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Unterkunft ist leider nicht für Kinder geeignet, da die Fenster nicht 100% schließen und es daher recht kalt war. Auch war die Matratze so abgenutzt dass man jede Feder bemerkt hatte und am nächsten Morgen mit Rückenschmerzen aufgewacht ist.
