This is a nice budget lodging. The beds were comfortable, and the connected pub serves good food at reasonable prices (we ate there 3 times). The staff is very friendly. The only downside was that the kitchen area was being renovated and was not very nice.

A bit of a hidden gem

We needed a place to stopover for one night and this was perfect. Super value for money, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The room was lovely and we ate in the restaurant which was great with lots of choices. Would definitely recommend!

I believe it was a little overpriced for what was provided, especially when one of the white towels had a giant yellow stain on it. We booked Nags Hotel as we needed somewhere close to the Racecourse. It is a nice quiet hotel. The room was small but for the price was great for 1 night. When we came down for dinner the restaurant and pub was packed out. We went out to see what was close by but they were all takeaway places. We eventually found a small table back at the Pub. The food was lovely but a long wait time. The staff are all happy and helpful. Showers and toilets are shared. There are steep stairs up to the Hotel Rooms.
