The facilities are very nice, and it’s a beautiful hotel. But the service was definitely not 5 stars.
It’s hard to get food and water outside of the buffet opening hours. So for instance if you want to have a snack between 16 and 18:30 it’s only possible to get chips or nuts from the pool bar.
If you want water bottles before 10:00 you have to go to the reception.
If we wanted to eat by the pool it was only possible to go to snack bar between 13 and 16 and bring it yourself.
By the kids waterpark area the only food choice is pork gyros which with no vegetarian options. We also noticed that food was not clearly labeled for dietary restrictions and allergies.
We personally did not get guide of the hotel until we personally asked for one after 2 days, which created some embarrassing moments for us at the a la carte restaurant. Through the whole trip I felt I had to ask what services and facilities they had, no one told you about the hotel to make the stay easier.
In general we just did not get the feeling of being at a 5 star hotel all inclusive hotel. We choose the travel form because it’s easy with kids, and I don’t feel they provided that.
I’d probably get the same experience at a 3 or 4 star hotel for a lot cheaper.
