I made my reservation months in advance and later needed to add a night to the beginning of my trip. I was told this couldn’t be done under one reservation and would require two separate bookings. Confirmed via email with office staff. However, on the very first morning of my trip I had a very upsetting experience. While I was outside quietly enjoying my coffee and looking forward to a peaceful vacation, a cleaning staff member abruptly entered my rental space and aggressively told me, “You were supposed to check out at 10am.” Her tone was confrontational and unprofessional. I firmly explained that I had an active reservation through Thursday. Without any acknowledgment or apology, she turned and walked away, still visibly irritated. The interaction left me shaken. I immediately called the office, upset and in tears, to report what had happened. I was told the property manager would be notified and would reach out to me as soon as possible. That never happened. I received no follow-up and no attempt to address the situation. The only communication I’ve received since then has been requests for photos for their social media and prompts to leave a review. While the property itself is nice, the lack of professionalism and complete disregard for the guest experience make this a place I would not recommend. Do yourself a favor and pick a place where guests are treated with basic respect.
