Eine sehr gute Unterkunft im Osten Islands. Wenn man sich hier aufhält , aus dem Süden kommt oder in den Süden fährt. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis wenn man aus Höfn kommt. Ein gutes Frühstück und sehr gute Betten und schönes Zimmer. Ruhig und schöne Umgebung. Ein Schönes Vogelschutzgebiet direkt vor der Haustür

En härlig plats likt ett gammalt inn i hamnen. Det var tjusigt att bo och vistas ovanför restaurangen och badrummen var bra för våra ändamål. Rummet var litet men bra nog. Det var väldigt lyhört ner om du bor på ovanvåningen då köket hörs rakt upp. När personalen arbetar, pratar och har kul. Till sent på kvällen, värt att ha i åtanke. Dock en av få ställen i närheten att bo på.

The staff was wonderful! Expedia gave me the wrong check out time (11:00), but it was really 10:00. The staff was very understanding! Room was very comfortable and quiet. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing! Great stay!

Overall, it was a decent hotel. We stayed there just for a night, so we can't comment on the amenities. Though the staff was very helpful. What I did not like was the checkout time, which was 10:00 am. No other hotel has a checkout time at 10:00 am!! We checked in at the hotel after a tiring day at 11:30 pm, and the checkout time took away our precious one hour of sleep time. Urgh!

No free breakfast included. I stayed at 8 hotels and this was the only one that did not include breakfast. Room had lots of dead flies on the window sill. Not sure why they don’t clean the window sills.
