A great way to be in the heart of Stratford, walkable to shops and theaters, with separate sleeping areas for teens or older kids, and free underground parking nearby. You just have to be OK with stairs - both to carry your luggage up to your room and down again, because there is no elevator, and to go to the bathroom if you’re sleeping on the main level of your loft-style room.
(Also be advised that if you’re sensitive to morning light, and thinking about sleeping late, the skylight in your loft will have other ideas in summer months…)
We absolutely love this location, the food at Bentley’s (lunch, dinner and late night/bar, no breakfast) and the recently renovated rooms which include mini fridges, small microwaves and sinks, Keurig coffeemakers, electric teakettles, basic dishes (no bowls) and ironing boards. The WiFi connection using a QR code or password from the TV screen is seamless, and for Michiganders/other Americans the TV has several US channels.
But really, if you’re coming to Stratford, don’t sit in your room watching TV - there’s too much else to do!
