The property was in very poor condition upon my arrival. A contractor was still working on the walls and asked me to wait until he finished. Once he left, the apartment was full of dirt, dust, and debris. I contacted the property manager immediately about the lack of cleanliness, but received no response. I recorded several videos of the apartment’s condition and sent them, again requesting that someone come to clean. Still, I got no action—only a vague reply saying the manager was "aware" and would take care of it.
After waiting patiently and seeing no resolution, I decided to check out early and move to another place. When I informed them I was leaving before my booking ended, they simply asked “what happened?” I explained once again how dirty the apartment was and asked if cleaning would be arranged. I received no further reply, and they refused to offer any refund. I then contacted Hotels.com, explained the situation, and was told the property denied the refund request.
It’s extremely frustrating to feel powerless in this situation and see my money wasted. I’ve been a loyal Hotels.com customer for over 20 years and have never had an issue like this. It’s deeply disappointing that this could not be resolved. I must warn others: do not book with GlobalStay. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and show no intention of resolving serious issues—they take your money and leave you helpless.
