Our room was dirty. The host changed our room for us and it was a tad bit better. The photos online are not of the rooms available. They appear to be AI generated. The host let us know there aren’t any rooms in the place that appear as the photos. All rooms have carpeting for example and some photos show rooms without carpeting. We booked a double bed room and there were only two bath towels. Everything about the place except for the host was terrible. Would never stay here again.

There are two areas of this hotel. One area is behind the main building down a hill. This building is separate from the main building where I stayed. The main building where i stayed seems to be reserved only for travelers booking nights, whereas the second building has permanent tenants. The building with permanent tenants and the area around that building is not well maintained like the main building. Regardless, I would absolutely stay here again. The property I stayed in was very clean and well maintained.

I chose this place because I needed a pet friendly room to keep my cat while I attended a funeral. Sadly, the pet friendly room was also a smoking room, so...yuck!One of the two beds was broken and the wallpaper was falling off. BUT, the room was clean, the check-in staff was very nice and it was cheap so I came in with low expectations.

Amazing People!!

I came to West Virginia from Florida after the last two hurricanes destroyed my home because my best friend said it was one of the most cost effective places to live. I stayed at Smart Extended Stay and honestly couldn’t have been happier. It is an older hotel but everything in West Virginia seems a little dated but The customer service is above par. They saw a need I had and without a word to me they created a solution for me. I am so grateful that I stayed here I truly believe God was moving through these people because I moved here without knowing a single soul and they went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a place to stay. I’m so grateful for the people that work here and own it. ❤️💪👌
