Spotless room and friendly staff. Great breakfasts (if you have the 'Full Manx' you may not need to eat again for the rest of the day!). Downstairs is a no-frills pub with good bar meals in the evening. Separate breakfast room for the mornings. I had a spacious ensuite room upstairs. Nothing special, but comfortable and worth the money that I paid. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the George in Castletown. The staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast was really extensive for a Pub stay and was fresh. The only letdown was that we had a standard double bed when we booked a king! We decided not to complain as the room was clean and tidy and we were only there for one night. Would recommend and would stay there again the place has character.

A great sized room with all we needed. All areas were clean, staff were all lovely and very friendly. Great atmosphere in the bar area, comfortable and good range of food choices which were all very tasty. We didn’t use the breakfast room but it looked nice with plenty of tables available. We would recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

A large room, with lovely shower room. Very clean, beautiful location in Castletown and perfect base to visit the Isle of Man. Ample parking. We spent 3 nights here and had a great time. Breakfast was incredible with a continental option or a cooked breakfast menu including eggs benedict, kippers and lots of other options. We also had a lovely dinner here, a nice pub menu. I recommend this hotel for good value for money.
