Our family loved staying in such a unique historic property and the price at the Brandon Inn is definitely a bargain for the area. We especially loved the spacious family suite that gave everyone their own space (although we booked a king and two doubles and received a king and two singles...) the rooms are clean and we slept well. Be prepared to walk the stairs as there is rarely a staff member available to man the antique elevator, and give yourself plenty of time for breakfast, as despite the huge eating area, the coffee and food are all tightly tucked into one corner of the room, making it difficult for multiple people to fix their breakfast at once. That being said, we enjoyed the coffee, bagels, juice, cereal and fresh fruit and loved the Vermont dairy products! Parking is easy, there is a cute bar, and the piano sing along on Friday and Saturday night looked fun. There is no restaraunt, but theres a great little restaraunt next door (22 something...) for burgers or bowls. We were bummed that the fireplaces were not in working order, as it would have been nice to have a comfortable place to hang out in the beautiful lobby. If returning to the area, we will definitely stay here again though!
