The So Hotel Auckland is in a great location with good access to the city and attractions. Our rating is low because we did not like the open plan layout of the room. I think there should be a door going into the Toilet. The floor to ceiling curtains are very difficult to open and close. We would say it’s a case of “Design over substance “ We were looking forward to experiencing the Top Floor Cocktail Bar but on our first night it was closed for a private function and we were unable to get a cocktail in the lobby bar before going out for dinner.

Easily the best experience we've had in a hotel. The ataff were amazing, our room was continually being cleaned and serviced, even twice a day (we came back one night to the bed remade and chocolates on the pillows).
