The Carr Mansion is near everything, right between the beach and Broadway!
Such a comfy bed!!! OMG!!!
Our hostess was so sweet, attentive, smart, interesting, and went above and beyond!

8/10 Muy buena

Very nice bed and breakfast. The hotel was very original to period. It does truly have a water-closet with the toilet. So if you’re large framed, you’re not gonna fit. Also, there was a bathtub in the middle of the room in the open. So if you have any modesty, forget it.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will be back!

The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. Our hostess, Joellen, was friendly and courteous. She makes a mean waffle! Since we were the only guests that evening, we had a lovely conversation with her. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Galveston.

Jollynn was incredibly flexible and accommodating during our stay. We had a wedding to attend on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and requested an early check-in so we could get ready. She graciously accommodated our request at no additional charge and even met us at the property to personally check us in. Her exceptional hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile made our experience stress-free and truly enjoyable. Breakfast was served each morning at 9:30 a.m. and was a wonderful touch. On our first morning, we enjoyed delicious banana muffins and apple fritters, along with a selection of coffee, tea, juice, orange juice, and water. It was a great way to start the day and added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of our stay. We truly appreciated Jollynn's hospitality and would highly recommend staying with her! She we work with you for sure!(
