Need a lot of investment to improve it Very dated carpets, uncomfortable bed, poor shower However worked for me in terms of location

Never seen the staff as they buzzed me in and I chose my room key from a box in the reception hall. Room very clean and adequate for my needs. Felt more like a guesthouse rather than a hotel.

Helpful staff and clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and a fan in the room, which helped greatly, parking at the back is very helpful too, very enjoyable stay, thank you

I arrived early for check in, but was shown to my room as it was ready for me. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely clean room in quiet surroundings. I was sent an online check in form that included registering my car, so I had free parking while staying there.

The location of the Wimbledon hotel was convenient to local buses & train/tube station. It’s walkable to Wimbledon tennis and the Village, as well. Housekeeping & management were very helpful & I was accommodated for my late check in due to plane delays. I have stayed at this property 3 times.

Standard single room, clean, comfortable and very glad of the fan. Room could do with modernising but said that I had only 1 night and suited me

Room so-so, bathroom tiny no room, staff non existent, no breakfast, parking limited most spaces taken up by non-residents.

The manager was very nice and accommodating. The bedroom and bathroom were nice. I forgot my cellphone inside the room for many hours when I went to watch tennis at All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club and the cellphone was there when I came back even when the window stayed open because there was no aircon in the room… even when the housekeeper came to clean. It was across the bus stop and bus 57 took us to the train station on the 2nd stop. We saw much of London by riding the train…all because the hotel’s location was very convenient and accessible…We had a great time!
Side view of Wimbledon Hotel. Most of the structures in London looks a bit similar…

The owner and staff member were very helpful the actual decor of the property is well beyond it's best before date the whole property is very tired. Our room shower drain was blocked upon arrival which meant we couldn't shower for 24 hours not good in 30 degree heat.

Our room was not particularly clean, also it was very shabby, also the shower was very small and did not work properly. The toilet seat did not fit. Everything was very old and it was not nice. It is a guest house not a hotel. Car park fine and position to Wimbledon was quite good, but we would definitely not stay there again.

Room very dirty and old fashioned. TV had no channels working apart from music channels. Shower minimal pressure and luke warm. Bugs appeared on the duvet which was disgusting!! Avoid at all costs and remove from the site hotels.com!!
