8/10
We stayed here for 6 nights and overall had a decent experience. The hotel is in a great location—within walking distance to downtown parks and restaurants—and we felt very safe the entire time. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to navigating parking. While there’s no dedicated lot, there’s affordable street parking and a convenient parking garage just a block away ($4 a day at most).
Our room was clean when we arrived and included a small fridge tucked in the closet, one chair, and a small table. There’s a microwave and ice machine available in the hallway. We’d read reviews about noise issues, but it was surprisingly quiet during our stay—no loud music, which was a pleasant surprise.
That said, the hotel is in an older building, and it shows. The floors are uneven, and you can clearly hear people talking or walking in adjacent rooms and above you. The hot water in the shower didn’t last more than five minutes, which was frustrating. And while we were there for six nights, housekeeping never came by—not even to take out the trash or refresh towels.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot in a central location and don’t mind a few quirks, this place can work well for a night or two. For longer stays, the lack of housekeeping and hot water might be a dealbreaker. I’d consider staying again, but only for a shorter visit.
