This resort is a gem close to the beach. It’s beautiful, very serene and has amazing staff. We absolutely loved the pool and loungers. The rooms are a perfect size and very comfortable beds. Would recommend it to anyone staying on Koh Lanta.

The best hotel we’ve stayed in, in Thailand. Really modern, clean, ridiculously comfortable bed, lovely swimming pool and breakfast included and the staff are so sweet! the best part of Koh Lanta was our stay here. The only negative was that one morning there was no hot water.

Nice modern and clean hotel with a lot of restrictions… and the beds are stiff. Don’t expect to arrive early they won’t give you your room sooner and don’t expect to spend time at the pool for your room. The breakfast was normal buffet and it was included. Koh Lanta is for family and very quiet… so expect babies and children.

The pool is the best part , beautiful day and night, but they spray the plants with some cleaner that smells like mothballs and it’s very strong! Breakfast is just ok, you have three options to choose from and some fruit and cereal and toast. There is no restaurant only open for breakfast however, lots of places within walking distance and a 711 steps away. Very minimal English lovely workers but communication is not great! Everything is top notch clean! Fantastic location to khlong Dao beach, takes 3 minutes to walk!

Excellent pool, my guess close to 60M. Breakfast good. Location OK... about 300M to beach, 200M to 7-eleven on main road. 20 minute walk into Saladan town. My main problem is that in a 7 day stay my KeyCard "checked out early".... Twice. On one occasion in the evening with no hotel staff on hand to reprogram it leaving my in a dark non-AirConned room overnight. On another iccasion I got back to my room to find no water supply for a few hours.

Great stay at Asura!

Me, my wife and our 10 month old daughter stayed at Asura for 10 days. At first we were a bit worried about the hotel as we read some not-so-uplifting-reviews, but we were happily surprised! Our room was ready upon arriving 14:05 and we were treated by a very friendly and happy member of the staff. The room looked exactly as the pictures, very clean and overall nice. As the pool are so close to the room, it felt as we had a room with pool access, which was great with the baby. We could stay on the sunbeds just outside the room, while she was sleeping on the bed on the room and we were able to see her through the big glas doors. Amazing! The only slightly negative thing is the breakfast, however this is a budget hotel (as they profile themselves on their homepage) and with that in mind (and the price we paid) the breakfast was good! There are also really nice places to eat breakfast close by, like the Oasis. We highly recommend this hotel!

Had 2 rooms booked 2 weeks in advance. Showed up they only had 1 room for us. Looked online they had a room available for 10 times the price we paid. Moved us to a hotel that was down the road which was full of bugs. I wasn't going to put a review until Kaew for the front desk confronted us on our second day. He was looking like he wanted to fight. Kaew needs to chill out He is going to have a heart attack if he keeps this up. The lady's at front desk were nice. Would be awful to work with this guy.

I absolutely loved my stay here, the only reason it is not 5 stars is upon walking in and during check in uou are presented with a very long list of rules you need to sign to acknowledge and how much the fines are per infraction. For example you cannot take drinks in however there is not a bar to buy drinks from. Fine for this is 2000 baht. Visitors to the hotel is a 10k baht fine amongst a long list of other things including smoking. Breakfast was a bit lack luster and I struggled as a vegan to find much to eat Other than that and the initial indimidating and unwelcoming start, the place was great, the poil was stubning, the bed was huge and aur con and shower worked really well. Two bottles of water and toilet paper supplied every day and the staff were very very friendly and smiley all the time. Now I know what to expect, I will return again.

Et fantastisk hotel vi helt klart ville vende tilbage til! Tydeligt at hotellet for nyligt er blevet renoveret og fremstår helt nyt. Alle værelser ligger rundt om den skønne pool som er lige så lækker som på billederne! Ligger på en hyggelig lille gade med kort afstand til en lækker strand!

I den grad good value for money. Taget imod med et smil lige fra indtjek til udtjek. Et simpelt hotel uden en masse ansatte, men det fungerer. Fine værelser og super lækker pool lige uden for døren. God beliggenhed tæt på stranden. Udemærket morgenmad

Fräsch hotell men kanske lite b&b känsla

Superfint hotell med fin och trevlig pool. Lugnt område, nära till massor av restauranger, massage, taxi, 7eleven och väldigt nära stranden + hjälpsam personal + fräscha rum + fräsch och modern pool + man fick inte ”reservera” platser kring poolen vilket gjorde att det alltid fanns plats på solstolar när man behövde - skyltar överallt med varning om böter vid misskötsel gällande allt möjligt, gjorde det lite omysigt - personal väldigt dåliga på engelska, svårt (nästan omöjligt) att kommunicera - nyckelkort slutade plötsligt funka 3-4 gånger under våran vecka så receptionen behövde uppdatera det. - finns endast frukost annars ingen möjlighet för mat, snacks - ingen möjlighet till hjälp av hotellet för att t.ex. boka taxi - ganska knaper frukost

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und vom Pier mit TukTuk oder zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Den wunderschönen Klong Dao-Strand erreicht man zu Fuß in wenigen 100m. Beim Check-In gibt es leider erhebliche Sprachbarrieren. Hier wird leider nicht einmal die Grundanforderung im Bezug auf Englischkenntnisse erfüllt, was die Verständigung sehr schwierig macht. Die Einrichtung ist modern. Das Bett ist aber leider sehr hart. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine relativ gute Auswahl, diese variiert leider nicht. Bei mehreren Tagen Aufenthalt, wäre ein bisschen Abwechslung schon gut und wünschenswert. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Einzig bei Vollbelegung sind, meiner Meinung nach, zu wenig Liegeplätze vorhanden. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt angenehm und ruhig.

Nach den ganzen schlechten Bewertungen hatten wir kurz bedenken wegen der Unterkunft, aber wir wurden positiv überrascht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer in einem guten Zustand und sauber, das Bett jedoch sehr hart. Der Pool könnte mal wieder eine Reinigung gebrauchen, da er an einigen Stellen sehr sandig aussah. Das Wasser war aber top und die Pool Zeit bis 10 pm lud auch spät noch zum Schwimmen ein.

Scam hotel

Boendet ser jätte fint ut på bilderna, utrustat med pool och solstolar utanför hotelrummen. Gångavstånd till stranden och tillgång till många olika resturanger. Däremot var hotellrummet inte särskillt fräscht. Väggarna var smustiga, lakan och kudde var sönder vid ankomst. Fanns även en A4 på rummet som noterade hur mycket allt skulle kosta om du skulle ha sönder något i rummet. Vi hade oturen att hotell nyckel och kortet lossnade från buntbandet som höll ihop dem. Hotell personalen anklagade oss att vi tagit sönder den och sa att vi MÅSTE betala för den om det händer igen. Bortsett från det var personalen allmänt otrevlig och kändes som de inte ville ha gäster där. Lappar och info fanns nästan mer på ryska än på engleska. Jag skulle inte rekommendera detta hotell för det är risk för scam.

Das Hotel ist an sich gut gelegen und die Zimmer auch ok. Allerdings hat es beim Pool ekelhaft nach Abfluss oder Chemikalien gerochen und auch die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war nicht sehr angenehm. Zum Glück verflog dieser Geruch nach einiger Zeit. Frühstück ist auch eher durchschnittlich
