Gross.

Really, really dirty. Bad area. Didnt even check my ID when i checked in. Door to the building we were in was broke so ANYONE could get in. Mad drug addicts/dealers walking through and living there. Literally saw a drug deal go down in the building next to ours. Dont stay here unless you have to.

Horrible! Flea infested. Nothing like pictures

I would not recommend at all. Drug addicts everywhere. Hotel is nothing like the pictures. Flea infested. Blood and hairs on the pillows. Carpet of hallway and room smells like pee. Ac doesnt work at all. Very bad area. Were told to not leave anything in the vehicle. If i could get my money back i would. Spent about 1000 dollars to get bit by fleas.

So terrible we didn’t stay

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had-we ended up requesting a refund and finding a different hotel. Our first room was behind a broken security door that didn’t lock. When I went to take a shower, I discovered there was no knob with which to turn on the water. I called the front desk, and the attendant brought us new room keys and moved us down the hall. This second room had tape marking spots on the ceiling that needed repair. When I went to the bathroom in this new room, I stepped in a puddle of standing water in front of the bathroom door. I tried to turn in the bathroom light to get a better look, but the light was so dim as to be nonfunctional. I called the front desk again. The manager brought up towels to put on the floor and gave us the choice of moving to s new room or staying in the current room with extra towels on the wet spot. We opted for a third room and packed up our luggage and young child for the second time. The third room seemed fine until my husband went to brush his teeth. When he turned on the faucet, he noticed large black flakes in the water. By now it was late, we were all tired, so we requested a refund and left. The desk clerk and manager were both pleasant, and I appreciate their effort, but that did not make up for the poor facilities.

Only place available

First of all...trying to find Amerstone was challenging enough, since there was no sign out side the building. Not sure if it's under new management and they're still changing there look. But, it still reads Ramada Inn. The room was not as the picture appears. The room smell of mildew. Restroom door would not close. The outer door down lock down the hall was held up with duct tape and the door would not close while you were inside.

Hotel location is in a very bad ares. Drug dealers and homeless everywhere. Really sad.

The first room they placed us in smelled like a smokers room although the room was marked “no smoking”. They moved us next door and it didn’t reek of smoke. When we walked in, the smoke detector was on the table and I immediately called to let me know. She said she would report it the next morning but no one ever came to repair it. Minnie the cook who prepared our breakfast was sweet and accommodating. The temperature in the dining area was unusually cold and I had to wear my coat while I had breakfast. The only entrance to the rooms is through the front door which is locked at 11:00 pm. We had to call a number on the front door so that someone could let us in.

First was put in a non-smoking room that some one had smoked in. They offered to Fabreeze the room. Transferred to another room. The one day we allowed them to clean the room it was only half cleaned. One out of two beds made, sink never washed and toilet had rings.

Don't waste your money!

I should have read the warnings of others. The room looked NOTHING like the picture. It was VERY old, the lock was broke on the door, and I felt as though I'd leave with some sort of disease or bugs. I did not feel safe AT ALL and ended up moving furniture in front of the doors. I had to work the following morning and was told the internet would be working, but it was not and I had to miss work. When people are travelling for work the internet should be in working order. I brought it to the manager's attention and let him know how much I travel to the area. He assured he was going to call Comcast and get back with me, but never did. The $50 some dollars that the front desk said I'd have to pay turned out to be $75. Also, the breakfast is made to order, so if you are in a hurry forget about eating.

Solo Traveler with Low Standards Disapproves

Upon arrival, I was very confused regarding where I was staying. The sign says Ramada with a sign below it reading Amberly Inn & Suites. A third sign reading Amerstone guests welcomed. There were some sketchy folks hanging around outside the hotel as I went into checkin. The front desk person was polite and helpful explaining it was recently separated from the Ramada name. Went to my room to notice the side gate lock didn't work and side entrance to my building was broken. The AC in the room was not blowing cool air, but I dealt with it. The tip of the iceberg was having a person claiming to be front desk come knock on my door at midnight claiming I hadn't paid for my stay. I almost left the next day had I not needed an extra night of rest. The neighborhood didn't seem bad at first but started to spot of lot of shifty characters in the back lot. I locked my door both nights.

Not my best stay

Our air conditioner did not work and when we called down they couldn’t help us til 0800 the next morning. Couldn’t even offer us another room. Double charged us for the room and if I wouldn’t have called back twice, they wouldn’t have made good on their mistake. Area had a lot of transients in parking lot.

Horrible

My husband and I found bugs in our bed. We took pictures and video of this little critter. My husband then went to the desk to tell the front desk attendant. She was very rude and said "so we have bugs". Did not sleep at all that night. Next morning at breakfast there was at least 5 people who had similar complaints. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE OR ANY AFFILIATES OF THIS MOTEL.

We checked in and went to our room. It was very disappointing, very worn everything the AC did not work. We called the front desk, she came and offered us another room. The second room was in the same condition but the AC did work. We thought it best to move on and I went to the front desk. The host was very apologetic and offered an upgrade to a suite. I looked at the room, it was also in poor condition. We were able to get a full refund.

Stay at your own risk

The hotel is nice in the lobby area. The outside of the hotel has three different names on it. There trash all around the back side of the hotel. The window looked to be screwed shut with a bar in it as well. So in case of a fire your toast. The entrance has a sign that the door is to be locked at all times, with no way to lock it. So anyone could come into the building without being a guest. There was trash in between the buildings. There was ladies standing around the back of the building waiting for or doing god knows what. We felt very unsafe and checked out before staying. They do have night time security that patrols the lot every two hours. So they must have had trouble in the past. Made a copy of my drivers license, because I used a credit card. So now we are watching our credit card for any fraudulent purchases. Stay at your own risk

The property was filthy, trash everywhere. Couldn't go swimming, pool closed the whole time. The washcloths should have been tossed, they were torn and holey. You could smell cigarette smoke in a non smoking building. The place does not really match the picture on the website.

Not worth $70 a night

Rooms are very run down and need remodeling, a lot of random people walking around and playing music through the night. The so called cook to order breakfast was very small portions and took 25 minutes to cook. Looks nothing like the pictures other than the lobby area. Not worth the price. it is more of a $40 a night room. Electrical on the AC unit was rigged to make it plug in. Is that even safe? Update the rooms and please replace the carpet too.
