Fantastic ownership, beutiful cosy clean hotel and room. Lovely big comfy bed with really lovely bed linen. Large spotless bath room. I was unable to have breakfast due to needing to be out by 6am, however sent me a breakfast sandwich with my husband when he met me later. It was delicious and such a lovely thing to do and much appreciated. My husband had breakfast and said it was amazing. Thank you Karen and Chris

We just loved our stay from start to finish. Karen is so welcoming and warm. We just couldn't fault it. Delicious breakfast surrounded by antique furniture on stone flagged floir, sparkling silver teapot. Cooked and served by Karen whio couldn't do enough for us. We forgot where we had booked for dinner and Karen' spent ages trying to help us find the correct pub! One word - go!

This is an absolute gem of a place. It has history (with antique furniture as well as the buildings), is very comfortable, is delightfully decorated and in a wonderful location. The host is lovely and even served breakfast really early for us. Outstanding value for money. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at The Cornmill in York and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with so much attention to detail that it really felt like a home away from home. The location was ideal for exploring York, making it easy to enjoy everything the city has to offer while still having a lovely, peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. What really stood out was the care and thought that had gone into our stay. Everything we could have needed was provided, and the whole experience felt welcoming, relaxed and special. We absolutely loved our time at The Cornmill and would happily stay here again on our next visit to York. A real gem and a fantastic place to stay! ❤️
