I stayed at Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstorffsgade with reasonable expectations, but the experience fell quite short of what I had specifically requested.
I explicitly asked for a quiet room, yet I was assigned one on the first floor, facing a parking area and very close to one of the busiest streets. The result was constant noise and several interruptions during the night, exactly the opposite of what I needed.
On top of that, the cleanliness was disappointing. The shower floor was covered with hair from previous guests, and there was an empty toilet paper roll that hadn’t even been removed. These are basic standards that should not be overlooked.
Overall, the hotel does the basics, but between the noise and the lack of attention to cleanliness, the stay was far from satisfactory.
