This is a very nice low budget hotel with a restaurant connected. Checking in and out was easy with machines, and there was always staff for help. The hotel was in a good location close to tram 1 that goes to the airport and to the city centre. The only minus was that my window was facing a big street, and early in the morning they started some construction work.

Brilliant hotel, next to the tram line (1).

Located less than 5 minutes from Danmarksplass tram stop (on the direct line from the airport to Bergen city centre), this was in the perfect location for me. The hotel was clean, felt safe and was a very good price. It was unusual to not have a TV in the room - but I didn't need on anyway. The hotel had a luggage storeroom which I was able to access before check-in - this allowed me to drop my bags mid-morning and go into the city centre for the day. The hotel has a partner restaurant on site (offering a discount for hotel users) and there in another restaurant immediately under the hotel - plus plenty of takeaway places, some shops and a coffee shop within 2 mins walk. There is also a communal area in reception with access to a kettle, microwave etc - and there was a vending machine and coffee machine if needed. I would very happily stay here again.

the day we stayed in this hotel was very hot. there is no ac, so we ask if the window can be opened. Unfortunately the window cannot be opened in our room due to some security issue. We asked if can get a fan and was told they will keep the only fan to their worker because they do not want to be impolite to their coworker. So we do not have fan either. what a ridiculous answer!!!!! we are their customer. the room was very hot, no AC, no window can be open. no choice to change room. wow, what a great customer service!!!!! will not come back again and definitely bad review.
