Venice and related destinations
Glide through shimmering canals on a gondola while Renaissance palaces rise from the water like architectural magic tricks. St. Mark's Square buzzes with café life beneath the Byzantine splendor of its basilica. The Grand Canal presents a parade of palazzos best viewed from the Rialto Bridge, where merchants have haggled for centuries. Lose yourself in narrow calli where laundry flutters overhead and tiny bacari serve cicchetti with glasses of local prosecco. The Doge's Palace reveals opulent rooms where Venetian rulers once plotted their maritime empire. Teatro La Fenice offers world-class opera in a setting that has literally risen from the ashes multiple times.

"Staff were amazing at this hotel, they did everything to accommodate and make us feel comfortable. Venice is a beautiful place and this hotel emphasises that perfectly. The reception team were very helpful and the restaurant team Stan and Sam were very attentive. Perfect relaxing place to stay."

"We stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon, the staff made us feel welcome and helped us celebrate by leaving a little extra in our room. Only thing pool was freezing"
Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo
"We have stayed many times in Venice and can say that this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. We were met with a very warm welcome at reception by very friendly staff who picked up that it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday!! Thank you for the complimentary taxi ride to Murano and private tour of one of the main glass factories. Our room can only be described as beautiful and was spotlessly clean with very efficient air conditioning. The view from the room overlooked the canal where many gondolas departed from and was a sight to see them manoeuvring in & out. The bathroom had obviously been recently refurbished as it looked brand new. Only a couple of points, there was a film of tile grout on the tiles by the toilet, a hook needed on the door and a tray for toiletries in the shower would be nice. Breakfast was very busy but service was very smooth and the food selection was huge & catered for all tastes. We didn't get to use the bar facilities but it did very nice with reasonably priced drinks. When we return to Venice, this will be out hotel of choice. 10/10 Thank you."

Carnival Palace Hotel
"Convenient location near the Tre Archi vaporetto stop and many restaurants. Staff was very helping to make us reservations . Room was nicely air conditioned and a good size for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The only downside was the spotty WiFi."
Hotel Montecarlo
"A great location close to all the sights and walkable distance of train station Small and quaint room was very small but suited our needs of a one night stay"
Hotel Principe
"Good big room with comfy beds …good air con …small balcony overlooking canal. Coffee maker and small fridge was a big bonus. Have stayed here 3 times before , this was best deal and room . Breakfast is good , don’t expect the big British fry up …it’s Italy ! Hot items were good ( scrambled eggs) … plentiful bread and pastries . Coffee Americano was as good as any other cafe style coffee we had in Venice. This is an older style hotel , a little worn here and there , but adds to the character. Room service staff and housekeeping were very pleasant and helpful. Only drawback for me , shower cubicle a little tight for my size , but completely adequate. Early morning boat activity was noticeable , but this is daily life in Venice , happening all around you. Close to main railway station for day trips away…plus bus terminus just over 5 mins walk from hotel. All good … will stay again ."
Hotel Bella Venezia
"Highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect distance to everything. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We were a group of 7 and they helped in setting up private transport to/from the airport, plus transport to the train station when we were catching a 5am train. They even had to-go breakfast boxes prepared for us since we’d be missing the included breakfast that morning. Everything was wonderful!"
