"The rooms had just been remodeled so they were even better than what was expected. The staff showed us to our room and explained how to use the lights (key card in the slot, something Americans aren’t used to) and how to operate the air conditioner controls. The location can’t be beat in the central spot of Sol with tons of restaurants and shops. The hotel is excellent and we would stay here again if in Madrid."

The hotel was very modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean throughout and very comfortable. The hotel location is close to restaurants, shopping, and major attractions.
We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. Everything was great except for two things. First, there was no coffee maker in the room, which is an absolute must for me in the morning. Second, there was no bar soap or wash cloths. If you're not going to have bar soap, which I strongly prefer, then you need to have wash cloths for the liquid soap, right?
Great stay! Close to decent restaurants, museums, and important destinations. We arrived early before official check-in time and they promptly gave us a room…a huge relief for weary travelers. Service was top-notch.
Perfect hotel (we had the suite in room 203), best staff (40 Euro for late checkout until 8:30 pm at a 400 Euro per night suite; made reservations everywhere; always with a smile and very helpful); best location!!
Cool location. Parking was convenient. LOVED the decor and art. Delicious breakfast. Santa Ana square had great food options. You are in the heart of the adventure and all the disco people will invite you to their clubs at night.
Hotel is amazing! Location, all renewed (hotel and room), spacious room, parking lot on-site($21), nice reception service, open 24h!!! Plus: great social area for coffee and work over the reception.
Two negative points:
# I tried to manage the room temperature from the room and it did not work. It is December so it is not a problem but maybe it would be an issue if it was summer.
# there was some hair on the floor and in the bathroom sink, shower.. I believe cleaning could be improved.
The location was excellent in the heart of the city. The only issue we had was the air cond/heater. It didnt work; however, when we called, they came went into the roof in the room and the heat came on. Everything else was excellent.
Ideal location for hopping on/off Metro. *Airport easy access - #8 train to #10 - one stop and short walk to hotel (r/t - 9€).
Close to bakeries, wine bars, local grocery store (great wine prices). Room was modern, beds dreamy and desk w comfort chair to work.
Service: Friendly & helpful. 6:00AM the restaurant not yet open and my Krupp maker did not work - so desk manager delivered my "perfect coffee" pronto & with a smile! Would definitely stay here again - one night not enough.
In real estate, location is everything, and this property has it! Close to both Sol and Opera metro stations. Around the corner from the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and tons of food options. The staff was nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay. And by stay, I mean a comfortable place to sleep while I explore the city. I didn’t spend much time in the room, but the time I did spend there, was replenishing, and it allowed me a great jumping off place for my adventures!
We only had one night here, but it was great. What an amazing location! And the rooftop is just perfect (pool, bar, etc.). Room furnishings were a tiny bit worn on the edges, but easy to overlook. Bed was the most comfortable we slept on in Spain. Great experience overall - this will be our go-to in Chueca moving forward.
Location, location, location. Just few steps to Gran Via and Plaza del Sol. Nice, modern rooms. 5 stars for cleanliness. Quiet even on the middle of action. Only complaint, my room have parque floors that need repair. A little bit noisy. Overall, wonderful experience. Surely to return!
