"Very quiet, not far from the train station (15 minute walk, a little less by tram or U-bahn) but in a much nicer neighborhood. Many options at breakfast."
"Perfectly located close to the train station and easy to walk everywhere. Unlimited free serve yourself espresso machines in the lobby 24/7 with whole milk and oat milk and many coffee options as well as sparkling and still water on tap. We rented cute bikes from the desk and rode them to the English garden minutes away, so convenient! Darling decor as well, it even has a very lovely alpine themed outdoor patio with resident cats. You really can’t beat this place for ambiance on a budget."
"The staff was nice and helpful. There was water available all day, as well as, a nice espresso/coffee maker. Everything was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The only downside is the area around the hotel."
"Spacious and comfy room, great shower and fantastic sized bed.
We were able to check in 3 hours early which was amazing after a very early morning for travel.
The street the hotel on is a bit rough but if you turn right out the front door of the lobby and go that way towards the city centre it’s a lot better and it was a great location for a morning run.
10-15 minute walk into the main touristy area of Munich and very convenient for the station."

Circus Krone Building is a venue in Munich City Centre. If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Munchner Volkstheater is just a short walk away.
Very nice place to stay in Munich. Centrally located for public transportation and in a safe area. The highlight is the breakfast spread — make sure you take advantage of what they offer for a good start to your day. Wonderful people taking care of you, especially Avni. He and his co-workers are the best and want to see that you are happy with everything. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast!
The fact that Hotel Europa is slightly off the beaten path (though ON the tram line) counts as an advantage. While I stayed at the Europa and enjoyed quiet surroundings, companions stayed near the Hauptbahnhof and had a terrible time with the noise of night-long partiers and seedy surroundings. The staff and furnishings of the Europa are first-rate, not over-the-top splendiferous such as demanded by poseurs, but quality provisions for the experienced traveler who knows what's...
Good location for travel by train. Dining options nearby are somewhat limited, but it's very close to the tram which is easy to use to get around Munich. The staff were very helpful. There are no self-service laundry facilities onsite but there is a laundromat about 15 minutes away walking.
Located very close to subway station Stiglmaierplatz, it is a short ride to Marienplatz. Rewe shopping center, open Mon-Sat, is about 10 min walk. The room is designed well but will be a challenge if you travel with a lot of luggage. Our room was quiet. The front desk was super cheery and helpful at all times and took the time to explain. We really, really enjoyed the breakfast: variety, quality, value. The 24-hour free coffee was most welcome especially when our checkout was at 5am. The machine...
We loved staying at this property. There is a tram right outside that made travel super easy. We also enjoyed the free coffee and hot chocolate. The only complaints we have are that the bed was too hard and breakfast was expensive. We would definitely stay here again though if we ever find ourselves back in Munich.
The property had great staff and was only a few blocks away from the main station. Very convenient to travel to and from. Breakfast in the morning is great and had all the amenities you will need for a few nights stay. The hotel was well maintained and clean. Overall, very nice
This hotel was perfect to stay for 2 nights for Oktoberfest. The location is extremely convenient - less than a 3 minute walk to the entrance of Oktoberfest. The room is pretty small, but served its purpose as we spent most of the time outside our hotel room anyway.
Our stay was absolutely excellent, I'm so glad I found this hotel after looking at over 50 options near the Old Town area of Munich. We needed a room that had two separate beds (more difficult to find) as we had our exchange student with us and a Clubhouse Room on the 2nd floor was perfect! The space in our room was wonderful, extremely clean and comfortable, and our room was remarkably quiet facing a courtyard. Though we didn't use any of the common spaces, they looked great. All hotel...
I enjoy my stay at Ruby Lilly. Everything is designed as practical . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Hotel bar open 7/24 . Wi-Fi was very speedy. Room decoration was modern and pleasant. If I ever come to Munich again, I will stay 100% at Ruby Lilly
The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.
This was our first stop on our 2.5 week European Honeymoon. We spent two nights here and we wanted to stay longer. We wanted to stay longer simply due to the staff. These people are amazing. They remember your names, they remember what you want to drink, they will book tours for you, recommend places to eat and places to go.
A few days after we left they sent an email thanking us for staying and told us to enjoy our trip to Prague. Then they mentioned if we needed help in France we could...
Hotel was in fabulous location just off Marienplatz. It was cute, had little pastries on check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice breakfast room. Perfect base to explore central Munich and super close to U and S bahn stop. Sad I only stayed one night. Would definitely stay longer in the future.
It’s a great hotel on all accounts. Except it should be noted for individuals with mobility issues that you have to go up five steps to get to the elevator and it only goes up six floors. It does not go to the seventh floor. That really should be in the info on the website somewhere. If it was, I didn’t see it in. I was fine, but this was an FYI for others.
