"Room had good space with a fridge and microwave and a nice space for luggage. It was clean and we were able to get extra towels if we asked. They allowed a late checkout on our last morning as well. Breakfast each morning was excellent, made fresh on site, not prepackaged coming out of bags. Pool area was clean, wet floor could be slippery. Parking was included! The hotel itself is a little off the beaten path but it is close to main routes to go wherever needed."

"There was a large sticky spot on the floor of our room, but other than that, it was clean. We stayed for 5 nights but our room was only cleaned twice and I had to hunt down someone several times to replace the coffee in my room. Check-in/check-out was fairly quick and smooth. The location would be better for driving, but the busses weren't too far out of the way. Pool was small and didn't look great when we got there so we never used it unfortunately."

"The hotel is across the street from the mall. It was a great location and the room was great. Breakfast wasn't much and it's a really small area so you need to be there early to get a seat."

"We stayed at the fairmont hotel Macdonald twice now and absolutely love it!! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Shoutout to Paul would went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay special including a personalized card, flowers and cake! The property is beautiful and although they are doing quite a few renovations and the one restaurant is closed, you would hardly know. One downside is the pool and hot tub close very early on Sunday nights (8pm). Would be nice if it was open later for guests that want to enjoy it later."
