The villa for our 6 person group was perfect - large and the decor was lovely. Kitchen was modern and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Private pool is small. Restaurant dinner fare was delicious. Staff were helpful and many spoke English. Room refresh must be requested. Carrefore grocery is a short 6 minute drive (closed Sundays). Would absolutely stay again.
Nice place with full air condition. The written WIFI code is a wrong code so do not waste your time using it. You can call the guy to give the correct code. The place has no kitchen. I was initially under the impression that it got one. Generally, I like the place because I got enough area to do my walking exercises and I can easily catch buses to do my business.

My husband and I celebrated Christmas and his 50th birthday at this wonderful hotel nestled just outside Ste. Anne, a quiet retreat from the noisier resorts. From there, it was easy to make day trips in our rental car (a necessity) around Grand-Terre and Basse-Terre. We spent 4 days at the beginning of our 10 day visit to Guadeloupe. The hotel and staff were great and it was a very relaxing way to start our trip. Hotel is lovely, staff and services are excellent, the included breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of items and eggs or crepes can be ordered as well. Beach is small but perfectly fine and well fit out with chaises, cushions, umbrellas, shade palms and a small restaurant for lunch or snacks. We highly recommend the Auberge.

We had a very pleasant week at Habitation Du Compte. The restaurant is quite good. Chef Anthony prepared a gourmet Valentine's Day dinner. The hotel is clean and comfortable and it's just a short drive to some of the beautiful beaches on Guadeloupe. The nearby town of Sainte Rose nearby has several good restaurants as does Deshaies a further drive away.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The pool area is wonderful. The neighborhood is within walking distance of a beach and neat restaurants and a great overlook to watch the pelicans diving.
