This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. Fun place. If you’re into spotless not for you, the stairs are steep and tricky, building needs quite a bit of maintenance. Built in the 1800’s I believe. This place is amazing. The hotel staff is super friendly and helped direct us towards the local attractions. They were genuinely invested in helping make our stay be the best it possibly could be and pointed us in the direction of other places to see in Chile once our stay was over. The views from the roof and the common area were unbelievable and our rooms were cleaned thoroughly and daily. Highly recommend.
