"Over all the hotel was fine, the staff was friendly. Only hitch was we arrived at the airport at 1am. The hotel provides "a 24 free airport shuttle". With that said we could not get through as the number was answered by an "AI" answering machine and we were not able to contact the shuttle and hired a taxi instead. Coast Inn at Lake Hood

"Coast Inn was a great choice for us. Next time we fly in to Anchorage, we will definitely stay here again. The shuttle was very easy, it's the airport shuttle to the airport parking lot. The Inn is adjacent to the parking lot and the shuttle makes a stop right in front of the Inn. The restaurant is very good, we had both breakfast and dinner there. Staff is friendly and courteous. We enjoyed walking around the seaplane airport which was directly across the street."
