"I had two nights. I was not informed about the cable change. So around 9 while I was in the shower the guy comes banging in the door wanting to come in. Check out time isn't till 11 if I wasn't staying even. Very rude. Says too bad it has to be done. I called the front desk no apology, no discount for running me out early. Not great customer service and inconsiderate "

"My husband and I come to Daytona a couple of times a year and always stay on the beach. Up until now, the places we've stayed have been just okay. The Beachside Hotel was a very different experience and we will absolutely be staying here again and again! First impression: the property is well maintained with a little enclosed sitting area out front with wicker hammock chairs. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The entire hotel was spotless. Our room had a kitchen sink, dishes etc, microwave and a full size fridge. They have stations on esch floor with cleaning supplies, extra TP and trash bags etc which is convenient. We stayed one night so I'm not sure if housekeeping comes every day but with everything available ypu really wouldn't need it with everything available. We had a private balcony facing the ocean. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean with plenty of deck chairs. Beach was easily accessible by way of a ramp. Breakfast was relatively standard. Waffle maker, packaged breakfast sandwiches, hardboiled eggs, packaged donuts etc. They also had hot grits with toppings. The orange juice was real. :) But my absolute favorite amenity was the coffee/espresso machine in the lobby. I could make myself an actual latte, not some sugary convenience-store stuff. And it was GOOD! They have lots of flavored syrups and other condiments as well. The machine is available 24 hours a day and is FREE! Overall we can't exit to stay here again!"

"Bed bugs! From the minute we pulled to the parking lot, it was a terrible experience. The property is filthy and in need of serious maintenance. Thankfully the first thing we did was check the bed because there were bed bugs! We immediately checked back out. The staff was unconcerned and offered no solution or apologies. They did refund us at our request. Stay away from this hotel! "

"We had a corner room with a great oven view. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchenette but it would be handy for a longer stay. The Counter was great for drinks by the pool. The staff was very friendly. The hotel property was well kept. Would definitely stay again. "
