Hotels in Downtown Lahaina

A bit low key, exactly what we were looking for. Great location

Unbelievable place to visit for your Honeymoon. The staff was amazing and made our honeymoon very special: amazing view, awesome pools, great food, and excellent amenities.

This was the best vacation ever. My wife and i actually went to Maui to get married. The room was amazing. Staff was great.... (shout-out to KK) for recommendations on places to go and eat. We will definitely be back next year for our 1 year anniversary!

We love the Sheraton! We stay there every year for our anniversary! Sheraton is walkable to Whalers Village and also has a couple of great dining options. The staff are very welcoming and the oceanfront deluxe room is to die for! Be back next year!

The best family rental ever. For the price compared to all the other resorts you get the most bang for your buck: location, FULL KITCHEN, laundry, guest services, beach access, shopping, and the most beautiful ocean with snorkeling magic galore. We saw sharks turtles and fish by Black Rock. It was amazing. Our daughter loved her first trip to Hawaii. We will definitely be back to west Maui and highly recommend the Whaler.

Lovely property, clean rooms, adult pools were amazing, beach is just steps away, great staff

It was a great experience!

From the moment we landed in Lana’i we were greeted by welcoming Four Seasons Ambassadors. It was a short shuttle ride to the breathtaking resort. We were welcomed by a Ukulele player, a wet washcloth, a Hawaiin lei and a fruit beverage. Since there was a group arriving with us, Flora told us she would get us checked in. Within a few minutes we had our wristband key and she even took us to our room. The room was beautiful and the view was amazing. There was high tech lighting and...

Incredible bungalow, beautiful beach, the sweetest workers, I am definitely coming back again!

We arrived and was very impress with the hotel to include staff at the Buffet breakfast place, concierge, Valet, and housekeeping. GOOD JOB !!! Everyone was at par and professional. The disappointing part was attending the Time Share presentation. The Presenter was very friendly and professional until we met the"TO" staff who gave us some options to buy in a Westin Time Share program. It actually was very interesting until we mentioned we wanted to think about the program considering it is a...

We thought the room was amazing. Beautiful devor and comfy bed. It had a fully stocked kitchen, so if you choose to eat in you had all the tools to do so. When we walked out the lanai door, we were close to the pool, and within 100' of the beach. The pool was beautiful, well maintained and refreshing. There were two pools and hot tubs. The pool colse to us adjoined the Castaway cafe. The Castaway Cafe, had a great selection and quality of food, an amazing wine selection, an excellent staff, and...

Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

We stayed at the Honua Kai Resort from October 27 thru November 2, 2016 and I have nothing but praise for the facilities, amenities and staff. Excellent location. Dukes restaurant on the property. Coffee shop/market located in one tower, Spa and exercise room located in the other. 4 pools and 5 hot tubs outside surrounded by beautiful landscaping to choose from. Half barrel slide to use for those of us that like getting introduced to the water in a hurry, lots of fun. Totally safe and very...

Loved it! Friendly and second to none views.

Very intimate, we had the partial ocean view just steps away from the beach. Room was very clean, had everything you need stocked in the kitchen for cooking. Rooms have no air but ceiling fans and leaving windows open cool down the room and not to mention hearing the ocean waves are at night is so calming. Pool has bbqs and is awesome at night with the tiki torches lit. Thursday night they had a pool party free Maui Tais and a live singer. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They provide beach...

This was our first time in Maui and we loved the island and the hotel where we stayed (Aston Kaanapali Shores). The room was clean, the pools were warm, the ground were beautiful, the staff was polite and friendly (housekeeping ladies were very attentive and efficient), and the price we paid was quite reasonable. The only unpleasant surprise was a daily parking fee of $9.00, which Expedia did not mention. Overall, this is a great family-friendly resort, no real complaints. We really enjoyed...

The setting here is wonderful. We could see and hear the waves whenever we were in our room. We had many meals on the balcony. But if you want a ocean view, make sure your building is one that has an ocean view. Ocean front rooms are more expensive, of course. If you don't care, the garden rooms have a very nice garden view as the gardens are nice too. Both the Gazebo restaurant and Imu BBQ were reasonable and delicious. Each evening other vacationers would gather on the bluff by the ocean...

Beautiful and well maintained property. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive at all. The hotel itself is lovely, and the surrounding grounds even more beautiful. We are average Joe kind of people, yet felt like we were treated like royalty. Because of the sacred burial grounds, beach access is either by walking a distance, or the hotel provides transportation via golf carts to and from, but that was only a minor inconvenience in my opinion.

Our family of four (boys 10 & 13) stayed here for spring break and had a great time. The food at the restaurants was delicious--not a bad meal anywhere. The only long line we encountered was at Starbucks in the morning but they were very efficient and it was spring break after all. We played in two of the three pool locations--all lovely. We learned too late that the weekly rental for snorkel gear was cheaper through this hotel than through the nearby online-favorite snorkel store. The waves...
