I stayed here to visit my child that attends the Art Institute and I was completely impressed. I will definitely stay here again.

This was the fourth time I’ve stayed here, and I’ll keep coming back. The location is very handy for families of Columbia College, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it’s priced well.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOTEL. FIRST RATE AMENITIES. FIRST RATE STAFF. KAREN AT THE CONCIERGE DESK WAS ESPECIALLY HELPFUL. FREE AUTOMATIC UPGRADE TO A BEAUTIFUL SUITE WITH A LAKE VIEW. SUITE WAS AKIN TO A VERY EXPENSIVE APARTMENT. ONLY COMPLAINT AND IT IS VERY MINOR. SINGLE PLY TOILET PAPER WAS BENEATH THIS PLACE. OVERALL WE LOVED IT.

Arlo Chicago is in the perfect location for walkable access to so many Chicago sights, excellent food (please try the Broken English Taco Pub around the corner!), bars, shopping, etc. It was also very conveniently located to access the L when we needed to get to other parts of the city! The staff was BEYOND accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and exceeded all comfort expectations! I also highly recommend the lobby bar for a great happy hour spot!!! The hotel was a whole vibe. Very nice and clean. Convenient to the all the shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again.

We loved that we we had 2 separate bedrooms for everyone in our group in one hotel room. And all for a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good. Great extra perk! Great location.

Excellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service. We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasn’t. The whole Peking duck was arranged haphazardly on the plate, the skin was not really crispy, and the taste experience was completely lackluster. As to the main dining room the service...

We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. The only disappointing fact was that the rooftop bar was not open but that wasn't a big deal. Everything was very clean. Beautiful views and great staff to accommodate any needs

This is a great place to stay with kids! We have a 7 yrs, 5 yrs and 18 month old and the hotel was very welcoming. The indoor pool was nice for the kids and one of the reasons we stayed here (the pool was a bit chilly, so hopefully they can get it a bit warmer for winter stays). The lobby is fun and feels cozy with the fire. It's a fun place to hang out at night time and the room was clean and spacious enough for our family while not breaking the bank.

No complaints. We stayed on the 18th floor and never had a long wait for the elevator (like I have experienced in some other places). The kitchenette was well stocked, beds soft and comfortable and bathroom is spacious in which I absolutely love.

I called the day before inquiring about a spa and mentioned it was my boyfriend's birthday. When we got to the room, a personal note and cupcake were waiting for him. The hotel is very unique! Unlike anywhere I have ever stayed! The employees were friendly and professional. We enjoyed everything about our stay 💕
