"We really enjoyed our stay! The only mild concerns are the limited amount of washrooms, and at the evening shows, it was often hard to find a waiter to order drinks. The resort was beautiful. Everything was very clean. Food was delicious and everyone very friendly."
"We had a great time at the property. The food was good, not special, but good at all locations. Way too many people for us, too busy at the pools, but not the hotel's fault.
The hotel was nicely renovated, and the room was very nice. Need to do better work on cleaning the pool areas, Bird poop, and food not being cleaned up. Need more service around the pool and beach area. Gym to small for the size of the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and week at Riu Flamingo."
"All was well in general but after wud have preferred a room not facing construction area. We did ask to change rooms do to repairs n staff present when we walked into the room. But still got same obstructed view."
"Wasn't impressed. Pool is small and filled with screaming children and the staff has a huge speaker blasting music. The water in the pool was about 90*. I don't think there was any alcohol in the drinks. Buffet left a lot to be desired. One restaurant was completely closed for renovations. Not much to eat as a vegetarian. Overall i won't be back but it was decent overall."

"The resort was definitely not clean, there was iguana poop everywhere, all over walkways, in the pools and lazy river. Lazy river was always full of debris like sticks and leaves. Staff there for the most part was good but there were a couple that definitely didn’t care to try help with much at all. The golf carts to take you around are a awesome idea considering it’s built into the side of a mountain but the golf carts where not easy to get ahold of or you would find them all at the top of the resort all hanging out chatting.
There was not much for food choices there, the pool bar and grill had easily the best food at the resort.
Trying to get to and from the airport was also a task as they didn’t really wanna help at the front desk unless you paid a heavy price for the ride.
Overall I definitely wouldn’t choose this resort to stay at again as it was very dirty and the food was not the best."
