"We never had wifi in our room even after complaining several times. Had to call for the TV to work. We've had to go to reception just to get our cell phones to get wifi. Breakfast was okay, but tajines were covered with a very heavy lid that made it hard to get anything because there wasn't enough space to put the lid down. "
"A subpar stay. Definitely not up to global four seasons standards. Having stayed at numerous four seasons hotels all over the world, this is more like two or maybe three seasons at a maximum.
A few things that led to this rating.
1) the room phone didn't work. I had to follow up multiple times over two days to have this fixed which led to multiple physical trips to reception to request anything I needed.
2) the pool didn't have changing rooms. Go and change in the toilet cubicle I was told.
3) On departure I was not helped with my luggage and had to load it in the car. This was watched by at least 5 hotel staff standing around aimlessly, none if which offered to help.
Again, the hotel was fine and had all the amenities - just not nearly up to the four seasons or any five star standard I have come to expect and am paying for. I will be staying at the royal Mansoor next time."
"Everything was good and clean with the room and check in process. Restaurant manager on the rooftop was rude and dismissive, that’s the only downside."
"Staff was helpful and friendly. Except one server in restaurant. He acted like he did not want to be there. Which I do not like. Service matters most. First room had a balcony, second room faced the street. Facing the street you have to avoid as there is constant honking all night. Unless you love street noise make sure to ask for an interior room facing ocean. Some rooms are also directly above the lounge so thumping music can be heard. Room 304 was a bit small and the shower head sprayed water everywhere except at my body. Lol. All in all an easy one block walk to the beach and 60 DH cab ride to town. In fact the largest mosque on the ocean is walkable at about 3 kms. If you are here please try O’Palm restaurant on the beach. Great service, view and food. Also turn left at Main Street out of hotel, walk along the ocean for about 3/4 km. You’ll find a Boulangerie on the walkway that sells beignet for 5 DH (about .75 cents CAD), injected with jam, Nutella, etc. Sooooo good. They also do crepes, waffles and gelato. Yummy. Casablanca for ocean, city life and great people. "
"Very clean room, comfortable bed, and nice shower. the room had all of the amenities that I needed. Staff at the reception and in the restaurant were great. The breakfast was very decent. Location was excellent, right across from the Casa Voyageurs train station, and a mall within a short walking distance. "
"Enjoyable and relaxing stay in Casablanca. The hotel is situated about 10 mins in the tram from the main train station. It’s about a 40 minute walk to the Hassan ll mosque and the corniche. Taxis are relatively cheap. The room allocated was spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee, chocolate and water were all provided as well as a fridge. All of the staff I encountered were all friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very good with hot and cold options available. I was the gym each day and that was small but reasonably well equipped. I wasn’t sure whether there was air con in the room but free water and towels were provided. I wasn’t sure whether disappointed with the rooftop pool. I was looking forward to relaxing by the pool only to discover there was only enough space for 2 sun loungers!. Not surprisingly these were often in use. If you are looking forward a city centre hotel with a relaxing pool to relax by then this isn’t the hotel. Overall an enjoyable, relaxing stay with the exception of my observation re pool side relaxation."
